Rosann Tisdall

October 28, 1943 ~ August 10, 2021 (age 77)


Rosann (Gerace) Tisdall, 77, of Tully, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.  Born on October 28, 1943 in Syracuse, New York to the late Eugene and Mary Louise (Volturno) Gerace, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Syracuse University while married with three daughters.  She worked for 38 years at Verizon and retired as an Operations Manager.  Rosann was a very detailed oriented and did everything to perfection.  

She enjoyed all types of music, reading, photography, picture framing, wildflowers and her pet dogs, but most of all her house which she designed her self.  She played the organ and accordion and was the lead accordion player for the Petta Band.  She played on the Lawrence Welk Show. Rosann married the love of her life, Darryl Tisdall on August 15, 1964 at St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse.

Rosann is survived by her loving husband, Darryl A. Tisdall; three daughters, Shelly, Sherry and Stacey;  two brothers, Gene Gerace and Joe (Pam) Gerace; her sister, Mary (Steve) Brusso; three grandchildren, Cooper, Spencer and Carly; two nephews, Gregory and Matthew; three nieces, Elizabeth (Kristi), Emily and Christina and grandniece, Cora Louise.  She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Louise (Volturno) Gerace and her father, Eugene Gerace.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the special doctors, nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital for their kind and professional services and a thank you to the Tully Volunteer Fire Department for their excellent assistance.

Funeral Services and burial were held privately for the family on Friday, August 13, 2021 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, DeWitt.  Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, East Syracuse has care of arrangements.
