Martha K. Newell, 95,of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2020 with her family by her side. Martha was born in 1924 to the late Matthew and Lillian Gabruk. She attended East Syracuse High School and graduated with honors and a scholarship for business school. Martha loved her office work and had a great knack for detail and organization. Martha retired from East Syracuse Chevrolet Truck Shop, where she always gave 110 percent and took pride in all she did. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, John P. Newell, her brothers, Frank Gabruk, Matthew Gabruk and sister, Pauline Bacon.
