Lloyd B. Amidon, 65, of East Syracuse, known as “Buddy” to his family and friends, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Upstate Hospital following a brief illness.
Buddy was a member of the Syracuse Bowling Association Hall of Fame for Outstanding Bowler, with multiple league and tournament titles including the Van Wie Doubles in
1985. Buddy retired after working 40 years at the Taft Road Post Office. Buddy was an avid golfer and worked tirelessly on both his bowling and golf game to improve his very substantial skills.
Buddy was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Eleanor Amidon; and his sister, Sharon Ostack. Buddy is survived by his two sisters, Cora Frament of Mattydale and Susan Reschke of Davenport, Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 5, from 3 to 6 pm with services immediately following at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton, on Sunday, March 6 from 2pm on.
