Leonard D. Casciano, 63, of East Syracuse passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2021. He was born April 22,1958 to Mary and Joseph Casciano of East Syracuse. Lenny earned a BA in business from SUNY Oswego after graduating from Bishop Grimes High School. His talent in the grocery business began at an early age at the family store, Leo’s Big M in East Syracuse, He went on to manage Price Chopper stores on Erie and Onondaga Blvd’s.
Dearly loved by his great, big Italian family and dog Cheyenne, Lenny was the best brother and son anyone could hope for. He was constantly challenged growing up with five sisters, who absolutely adored him. A passionate bicyclist and gym enthusiast, Lenny also studied Kung Fu and instructed youth martial arts. A true-blue beach lover, Lenny was happiest with his toes in the water and his bottom in the sand.
