Concetta LaVoie,89, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Reggio Clabia, Italy on April 24, 1931 to the late Antonio and Maria Princi. She retired from New Process Gear after 20 years of service. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and grandmother. Concetta was predeceased by her husband, Lt. John L. Prince in 1970, her second husband, William LaVoie Jr., and many loved ones.
Concetta is survived by her two sons, Deacon Anthony S. (Susan) Prince of East Syracuse and John L. (Janet) Prince of Jamesville; daughter, Anne Lahdini of MA; grandson, Mark Fiorino of MA; granddaughter, Nadine Prince of CT; her four sisters, Frances Princi, Tina, Virginia Cannata and Faye Prince; her brother, Salvatore Princi; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 10 a.m. at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home with her son, Deacon Anthony Prince officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a prayer service at the funeral home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse. Due to current COVID restrictions the prayer service and funeral service will be for immediate family only.
