Albert P. DeCirce, Jr., 72, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home.
Born January 27, 1949, in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Albert P. DeCirce Sr. and Kathleen M. Harrison DeCirce. He was a proud US Army veteran. He retired after 36 years as an Engineer at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. He was a member of the Tipperary Hill American Legion Post #1361 for 45 years, and was a lifetime member of the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
Albert loved the Rolling Stones and was their “Biggest Fan”. He was a Baseball and Civil War historian.
He is survived by his spouse, Kelly Greenwood; son, Paul V. DeCirce; sister, Kathy Cragin (Dave Nappi); nephew, Douglas Cragin; great nephews, Donald and Nicholas; and several cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday from 3-6 pm at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home, followed by interment in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
