We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home
Ada J. Botindari, 83, of East Syracuse, passed away at home on Thursday, June 9, 2022 with her family by her side. Ada was predeceased by her husband, Robert A Botindari. She is survived by her son, Robert Shawn Botindari; and daughter, Mary Jo Botindari (Denise Cronk).
Ada was born in Winchester, Kentucky. She enjoyed the simpler things in life. Watching the birds, flowers blooming, the night sky. She looked forward to outings with her daughter and evening visits from her son. She especially loved the landscape and peacefulness of the family camp in Tughill. She was a voracious reader and loved learning tips and tricks. The loves of Ada’s life were her children. She worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, forgave them and always kept loving them. She was also a surrogate mom to many of her kid’s friends, who were always welcome in her home.
Ada was a fierce and forthright woman holding fast to her beliefs. She was a breast and ovarian cancer survivor. In recent months she showed her courage facing colon cancer. Despite what she endured, she stayed strong, a force of nature until the end. Ada was truly one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
At her request there will be no formal service or funeral. Her wish was to be remembered as a loving mom and friend to all.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice if CNY.
Arrangements are with Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, East Syracuse.
