Virginia F. (Crysler) Taubman, 69, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly East Syracuse, New York, passed away from complications of lung cancer surgery on Sunday August 11 2019 at the Mease Countryside Hospital. Virginia was a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Class of 1968 and later received her Associate’s Degree as a legal secretary. She was a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #359. Past employed by Leo's Big-M Market, Purple Hippo Bakery, and Empire Vision. She loved to golf, travel and especially enjoyed going fishing. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert E. Crysler and Mary F. Hayes Crysler; brother, Robert (Larry) Crysler, sister, Judith Spratt, sister, Joan Brown, brother, Charles Crysler, and brother, Robby Crysler.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frederick R. Taubman; daughter, Cherr M. (Wallace) Chrissley; son, Matthew J. (Melissa) Taubman; and sisters, Kathleen (Rick) Juli, Elaine Crysler, and Carol (Ricky) Smith. She adored all of her grandchildren, grandsons: Zachary, Nicholas, and Jared Chrissley, and Mitchell (Vicky) and Mason Taubman; great granddaughter, Lena Rosa Taubman; several nieces and nephews; and in-laws, Grace Kirsch, Richard Taubman (Elaine Scott), David and Joanne Tompkins, and Christina Miller.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse.
