Sheila, B. Sokolic-Rodgers, 58, of Latrobe, PA passed away peacefully on Monday at her home. A life resident of East Syracuse, Sheila resided in Latrobe PA for the past 25 years. She worked for West Penn Power Company and Haluas Restaurant for 14 years. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church and a member of the Ladies Auxillary of Crabtree Sportsman Club. She was predeceased by her father, Steven J. Sokolic in 1984 and step father, Dominic Meccarielli in 2001.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Michael Rodgers; three daughers, Ashley (Bobby) Derry, Katie (Sam Brandt) Sokolic, Ahleigha Rogers (Ben Penigar); her son, Michael (Claudia Evans) Rodgers Jr.; her mother, Judith Sokolic-Meccarielli; brothers, Steven Sokolic of East Syracuse and David Sokolic of Mattydale; two sisters, Kim Sokolic of Dewitt and Stacey Fitzgerald of Mattydale; four grandchildren; and several aunts, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. and a memorial service from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, PA.
