Mary F. (Chavoustie) Krukowski, 88, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital with her family by her side. Born on March 15, 1931 in Watertown, New York, she was an avid SU fan who enjoyed watching Pro Golf, loved flowers, gardening and was an excellent cook.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; and brother, Richard P. Chavoustie. Mary is survived by her four children, Mark (Laura) of Sidney Center, Scott (Annie) of East Syracuse, Lee (Kim) of East Syracuse and Michele of Minoa; three siblings, Robert (Boo) Chavoustie, Joyce Gosier and James Chavoustie; five grandchildren, Kendra, Kyle, Caroline, Michael and Natalee; two great-grandchildren, Hanna and Harper; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse.
