Lawrence "Larry" Robbins, 83, of East Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at Crouse Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Troy, NY, Larry was a supervisor with General Electric for 30+ years before retiring in 1993. He was an avid sports fan who loved Syracuse University, NY Giants and SF Giants. Larry loved spending time with family & friends and traveling. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Marion (Dunlop) Robbins of East Syracuse; two daughters, Laura (Gary) Robbins of Johnson City, NY and Tracy (Kevin) Taylor of Bow, NH ; his siblings, Gwen (Jim) Brown of NH, Brendalee (Dan) Reid of NY and Freeman (Cecy) Robbins of CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home before the services.
