John R. Viglione, 55, of Tully, passed away on Wednesday at University Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on October 10, 2018 . Born in Watkins Glen, New York, he graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York and received a BS in Electrical Engineering as well as Leslie University in Cambridge, MA where he received his Master's Degree in Management. He was presently employed with National Grid as a Lead Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineering License in New York State. John lived life to the fullest and had many hobbies and interests, including, photography, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, target shooting, woodworking and gardening. He also enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle, attending cruise nights with his classic Camaro or Corvette, and spending winter weekends at his camp on Tug Hill snowmobiling.
John is survived by his loving wife, Chanh (Tran) Viglione of Tully; his parents, Thomas and Beverly Viglione of Watkins Glen; his two sisters, Elizabeth (Anthony) Fraboni of Watkins Glen and Margaret (Alex) Kuznets of New Jersey; his brother, Tom Viglione of Kansas City, MO ; his niece, Sarah Kuznets of NJ and nephew, Mark Fraboni, of FL .
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 11 a.m. at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse.
