Donald W. Rohrig 92 of North Syracuse passed away Thursday at Sunnyside Care Center East Syracuse. Donald had lived in North Syracuse for 50 years. He retired from Crouse-Hinds where he worked as an electrician. He was an Army veteran of WW II. He is predeceased by is first wife Janet Sharp Rohrig, also his second wife Virginia McCue Rohrig, step son Thomas McCue, step grandson David and his sister Marian. Donald took great joy in woodworking and created many beautiful works of art in wood. He also had a great love for animals and cared for many pets until the age of 90.
Donald is survived by his daughter Linda Rohrig, step daughter Patricia, 4 step grand children Judy, Daniel, Sheryl and Linda, and many step great grand children.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 20 at 2:00 PM at the Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the services.
